Hello all!

Brief news this week, though is all go behind the scenes: two weddings this week (we have nine in total this year, plus one wedding blessing), and our bid to The National Lottery Heritage Fund will be submitted early next week. We expect to hear the outcome around January 2027.

Looking not quite so far ahead, 'Hymns & Pimm's' will be at 3.30pm on Sunday 6 September. A list on which to write/put a tick next to a hymn you'd like us to sing at the service will be in church from this coming Sunday, along with a sign up sheet for the occasion itself (so our resident fairies know how many to cater for). Tickets £5 to include a glass of Pimm's/juice & canapes. This is a fundraiser for general church funds (which could do with a boost). Please come!

This coming Sunday, 2 August, the readings will be Isaiah 55: 1-5 and Matthew 14: 13-21.

Finally, there are still gaps on the 'church sitting' rota. If you could give an hour on Mondays during the school holidays 11am-4pm, please sign up on the sheet in church, or let Margaret Fisher know on mjfisher1947@gmail.com 01353 721316. Thank you.
