Hello all!

A few bits of news this week, including this notice re General Synod elections:General Synod - Diocese of Ely This is an area I know very little about, so if you are interested in standing for election, Step 1 would be to click on the additional links this initial link offers you. Closer to home, a message from John Cole:

I will be going to Fairhaven residential home this coming Saturday 15 August at 10am. We will share communion together and sing some hymns. Everyone is welcome to join us.

On Monday 17 August at 10.30am I will lead the usual monthly Communion service at Millbrook House, upstairs in the library (there is a lift!). Everyone is welcome, including non-residents. It's a short, unfussy, friendly gathering - do come along if you'd like to.

And finally, this coming Sunday 16 August will see the baptism of Albie Shropshire during the 10am service, and another baptism at 12.30pm. The Bible readings at 10am will be Isaiah 56: 1-8 and Matthew 15: 21-28. Perhaps see you there!
