Giving and ways to give

Parish Giving

For centuries, St Andrew's Church has benefited from the generosity of those who have made financial donations towards its upkeep and general running  costs. Like many churches, however, we continue to struggle financially.

Donations to church funds, be they one-off, occasional or regular, are vital to our continued life and mission.

Might you be able to help us? There are many ways to contribute to church funds:

  • If you are able to give regularly, one way to do this is to join the Parish Giving Scheme. Packs are available from the back of church, or by emailing Eleanor our vicar, so she can send one to you. The advantage of this scheme is that Gift Aid is calculated centrally, saving volunteers time at parish level.
  • Alternatively, you could give regularly via our envelope scheme. Please ring Lynne Webb on 720155 for details.
  • Cheques should be made payable to Soham PCC and sent c/o The New Vicarage, 27 The Oaks, Soham, CB7 5FF (If you are willing to Gift Aid your donation, please include your address so we can send you a Gift Aid form).
  • You can give on line via this link
  •  Or you can make a donation by text: text SOFG58 plus the amount you wish to give (ie ‘£XXX’) to 70070

Thank you in advance for your generosity!
